Delta Lake for AWS Lambda
Buoyant Data offers a few different flavors of Delta Lake packages for AWS Lambda to help customers get started quickly and efficiently. Building on top of our Long-term support distribution, we offer customers regular updates to packaging in the form of:
- Space-optimized Lambda Layer for Python which allows for customers to adopt Delta Lake quickly with minimal deployment overhead.
- Optimized wheels for difrerent Lambda architectures:

Delta Lake LTS
Buoyant Data offers Long-term Support (LTS) for Delta Lake which includes longer-term support of significant releases of the deltalake package, such as 0.16.x and more, for which enterprise customers require backports of critical security, performance, or bug fixes.
LTS customers receive access to regularly built and updated Python packages as well as the LTS git repository for Rust builds.
Airbyte Accelerated
Buoyant Data has helped a number of customers deploy Airbyte for enabling self-service data ingestion or export pipelines. Our Airbyte Accelerated product offers a number of optimized sources and destinations for Airbyte use at enterprise-scale.
- Delta Lake destination for Airbyte: use any off-the-shelf Airbyte source for writing data into Delta Lake tables.
- Accelerated S3 source/destination: high performance S3 source and S3 destinations which enables substantially faster copies of objects between buckets or S3-compatible cloud services.
